Hey Delmarva,
I am Anthony Joseph, Sports Director at WMDT. I am proud native of Sussex County, and have been a prominent figure in the world of sports broadcasting. I served as the host of the Voice Radio Sports, captivating audiences on Classic Rock 103.5 and 102.9 the Vault. Additionally, I have been the voice behind high school football games broadcasted on the radio, lending my passionate commentary to countless memorable moments.
Throughout my broadcasting career, I have shared my enthusiasm for the game over the airwaves, providing play-by-play coverage for over a hundred thrilling matches. My dedication to sports journalism led me to contribute to WRDE-NBC Coast TV, where I reported on a wide range of sporting events. Notably, I had the privilege of covering the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl journey in Minnesota, where I interviewed iconic players such as Lane Johnson, Alshon Jeffrey, and Fletcher Cox, among others.
Beyond the realm of football, I am a big fan of the Baltimore Orioles and Philadelphia Phillies. Furthermore, I have extended my passion for community involvement by actively participating as the emcee for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. I started my TV broadcasting career as a intern for WMDT and it is great to be back.
