Hey Delmarva!
My name is Amber Conley, and I’ve been working for WMDT since 2022. I started out as a studio tech, and over time worked my way up to a Technical Director. Now, in addition to directing WMDT’s NewsHour every weekday at 5:30pm, I host a weekly segment called Live Green, where I report on important environmental stories from across Delmarva.
I grew up here on Delmarva and graduated from Indian River High School. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Communications from Salisbury University. I’ve always had a passion for the environment and from a young age I’ve dreamt of being on TV, so working at WMDT has given me the perfect opportunity to combine my two passions.
When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling, hiking, film and photography, and learning more about different cultures.
