Update: Police investigate overturned truck crash in Millsboro.

Delaware State Police are investigating a non-fatal crash involving an overturned concrete truck.

The crash happened around 6 AM Saturday, at Laurel Road (SR 24) west of Millsboro, in the area of Saunders Road, where the truck collapsed after losing its load.

The driver, Jeff Gustin a 29 year-old Delmar man was treated at the scene and transported by EMS to the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

The driver lost control of his truck after attempting to make a turn before veering off the road and slamming into a utility pole.

SR 24 in the area of the crash was closed for approximately three hours as the crash was investigated and cleared.
