Parents host “Take Back Our Schools” discussion for Bennett Middle School

It wasn't just parents in Cambridge meeting tonight about school safety. Parents in Fruitland also gathered to discuss how they can keep their children safe at Bennett Middle School. This is the second forum held on the matter. Topics including bringing awareness about bullying, violence, harassment, intimidation, and more that parents say go on inside the  school. Parents children, and faculty were all encouraged to attend tonight to voice their opinions and share their concerns.

"It's really helping out the progress of making our school safer it's happening pretty quick so I think if we stay on top of it and have everyone be heard and let them know what progress we're making I think it's always a good thing," said forum organizer Tiffany Knupp

Knupp added that if parents and those who wanted to attend were not able to make it to Monday's discussion, that another forum will be hosted in the next coming months.
