Milford Community Parade returns Wednesday night, temporary road closures to take effect

MILFORD, Del. – The Milford Community Parade is returning Wednesday night, and police are advising motorists to be aware of detours.

We’re told parking restrictions will begin at 4 p.m. along North and South Walnut Streets, as well as Northeast 10th Street and Seabury Avenue. Parking is anticipated to reopen in those areas around 8:30 p.m. Road closures will begin on Seabury Avenue at 5 p.m., and along North Walnut Street, South Walnut Street, and Northeast 10th Street starting shortly before 6:30 p.m. These closures will affect eastbound and westbound travel on any street intersecting North and South Walnut Streets from Seabury Avenue to Northeast 10th Street.

Traffic patterns are expected to return to the normal flow shortly after 8:30 p.m.
