Elliott Sisters Square Off For Possibly The Last Time

Salisbury, MD – When No. 1 Salisbury University field hockey takes the field Saturday to host No. 16 Mary Washington, it will be a family reunion of sorts. The Eagles head coach Lindsey Elliott is no stranger to Sea Gulls Stadium. Elliott spent four years wearing the maroon and gold, twice earning 1st team All-American honors. Once her playing days were done, she went on to serve as an assistant coach under Dawn Chamberlin. Once a Sea Gull, always a Sea Gull they say.

To add to the emotions Coach Elliott will be feeling Saturday, is the current SU player wearing number 12, Mallory Elliott, her sister. Mallory is enjoying her final season with Salisbury and has been a steady force of offense in one of the best front lines in the nation. The sisters have played against each other several times before, but Saturday has the potential of being the last, and the potential of building a memory they will likely never forget.
