Wolverines Crush College of Faith on Senior Day
Dover, DE- Wesley's fourth ranked football team did not allow a single first down and returned three fumbles for touchdowns in the first quarter on the way to a 62-0 win at Scott D. Miller Stadium.
Sosthene Kapepula, Aamir Petrose and Brenton Barnes all returned fumbles for touchdown in the first fifteen minutes of the game. Joe Callahan hit Steve Koudossou on touchdown passes of 22, and 9, and also took a read option nine yards into the endzone. Running backs Brandon Wright, Ben Martin, and Kennard Squirrell all scored on touchdown runs.
Ben Robinson led all players with eight tackles and 2.5 for loss while six different Wesley players had interceptions. The defense forced 11 fumbles, recovering five of them for a total of 11 takeaways.
Wesley has a bye next week before traveling to Division I FCS Charlotte on Saturday, November 15th at noon.
