Smyrna boys capture second straight Henlopen Championship

For the second season in a row, the Smyrna boys basketball team won the Henlopen championship, beating Woodbridge 65-49 on Friday night at Dover High School.

Eagles forward Jaymeir Garnett finished with a team-high 20 points, with teammate Caleb Matthews adding 15. For Woodbridge, Hassan Corbin finished with a game-high 28 points.

Both teams now enter the DIAA tournament.
