MADD develops new app

The time during the holiday season from December through New Year’s is considered to be one of the most dangerous for impaired driving-related deaths.

According to Maryland officials, impaired driving-related crashes claimed over 150 lives last year.

In an effort to help bring down that number, Mothers Against Drunk Driving have developed a new smart-phone application.

The ENDUI application is marketed as having the capability to instantly locate the closest taxi service or public transportation option.

In addition, the app can estimate Blood Alcohol Concentration and features skills tests to gauge reaction times.
