Del. authorities search for suspects in Millville home invasion

Delaware Troopers say they are currently searching for suspects in a Millville home invasion, that put one victim in the hospital.

Delaware State Police say at about 9:00 PM Sunday night, Troopers were called to the 36000 block of Squirrel Run Circle, where a 66-year-old man said two people had just come into his home and assaulted him.

The victim reportedly told Troopers that, he went into his front sun room to turn off his outside light, when he was hit in the back of the head with a baseball bat. The two unknown male suspects then started going through the victim’s pockets, but weren’t able to get any items, and fled the area, according to the report.

The victim was reportedly transported to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

There are no descriptions of the two suspects available at this time.
