Decatur Takes Down Mardela On The Road
The Stephen Decatur High School boy’s basketball team traveled to Mardela High School on Tuesday night and claimed a 71-59 victory. The Seahawks improve to 4-6 for the season, while the Warriors fall to 2-9.
Mardela jumped out to an early lead in the game, with Zack Hyland hitting a three-pointer on the left wing on the Warriors first possession. The three-ball was very familiar for Mardela, as Nate McCoy hit one of his own a few series later. But, Decatur would fight back and take the game, on the shoulder of Keve Aluma’s 15 points.
The Seahawks head back home for their next game on Thursday at 5:30 p.m., against Wicomico High School, while the Warriors travel to Pocomoke for a 5:30 start on Thursday.
