Delaware drug investigation lands four behind bars

A several month long drug investigation has lead to the arrests of four people.

Delaware State Police say they executed a search warrant on a house East Third Street in Blades on Wednesday. The search reportedly found various drug paraphernalia including 280 bags of heroin, .4 grams of marijuana, .4 grams of powder cocaine,and over $900.in suspected drug proceeds. Authorities say Bryant LeCates, 24 of Blades, Pamela Lama, 45 of Blades, and Joseph Owens Jr., 53 of Blades, were all taken into custody without incident.

On the same day, Delaware State Police say a search warrant was executed at a room at the Sunrise Motel located on Sussex Highway in Seaford. Police say they found 7,808 bags of heroin, over $6,000in suspected drug proceeds, various drug paraphernalia, and a fully loaded 9mm handgun.  Michael D. Coverdale, 38 of Seaford, was arrested at that location.

All four people face a multitude of charges including possession with intent to deliver heroin. They all are being held on bond.
