Man dies after being pulled out of burning home

A man pulled from a burning home on Wednesday night has died.
According to the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office, flames were shooting out of the windows when firefighters arrived at the home on the 32000 block of Circle Drive in Orchard Manor around 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Firefighters found the man inside and he was rushed to Beebe Medical Center where he later passed away. We’re told a dog also died in the fire. Fire officials would not disclose the victim’s age or identity.
No other injuries were reported. Investigators are still working to determine what ignited the flames.
Damage was estimated at $100,000.
