HALO provides extra beds during wintry weather

Due to bitter winds and cold temperatures, HALO Day Facility will be providing additional bed space this week.

Starting Monday through Saturday the shelter will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. The café will open at 7:30 p.m. and walk-ins are welcome until 9 p.m. Shelter officials say they can always use donations.

Right now, the shelter is in urgent need of toilet paper, paper towels, sugar, milk, and cheese.
