Bridgeville man accused of unlawful sexual contact against passenger

A Bridgeville man is behind bars, after he reportedly sexually assaulted another man while giving him a ride to the bus stop.

Georgetown Police say on Tuesday, a 23-year-old man accepted a ride near Royal Farms to a nearby bus stop. According to the report, during the ride, the driver, who introduced himself as Steve, and the 23-year-old exchanged phone numbers so that the passenger could pay Steve for gas, later.

Police say during the conversation, the driver offered to perform sexual acts on the 23-year-old and grabbed the passenger’s genitals while doing so. The victim was apparently able to get out of the vehicle, but a short while later, the driver started texting the victim about exchanging money for sex acts between them, and about performing sex acts on the driver’s mother.

The victim was apparently able to describe the suspect’s vehicle, a maroon Ford Taurus, and Police found it at Royal Farms a few days later. The driver was identified as 45-year-old Bryan Willoughby. Police say Willoughby, who matched the victim’s description of the suspect, was also selected by the victim in a photo line up. On Friday, Willoughby was taken into custody, where he apparently admitted to his actions.

He has now been charged with unlawful sexual contact, criminal solicitation, offensive touching and sexual harassment, and is being held at Sussex Correctional Institute on $3,500 bond. A no contact order has been issued with the victim.
