Del. officials propose new violent felony laws

in delaware — the words “violent felony” may soon have a different definition. today — attorney general matt denn — along with other state officials — proposed to remove some drug possession crimes from that list. if someone were to be believed to intend to deal drugs — however — that would still be considered a violent felony. under the proposed legislation — two other crimes would be added to the list of violent felonies. this includes — promoting the sexual solicitation of a child and resisting arrest with force or violence. we’re told this bill is expected to be introduced in the house of representatives later this week.
