Suspect wanted after reported armed robbery at Pizza Hut in Rehoboth

State Police say they are looking for information, after a late night armed robbery of a pizza restaurant in Rehoboth.

Delaware State Police say on Wednesday night around 11:00 PM, a 33-year-old woman was preparing to close up shop at the Pizza Hut on Coastal Highway. According to the report, the woman was confronted by a man armed with a handgun.

The suspect reportedly then demanded money from the restaurant’s safe, but the employee didn’t comply. Police say the suspect then fled from the scene. The employee was not injured in the incident.

Police are describing the suspect as a 20-30-year-old black male, standing 5′ 10″ to 6′ tall, weighting between 160-180 pounds, last seen wearing a dark clothing including a hooded sweatshirt covering his face.
