Fire sends a Joppa woman to the hospital
Around 1:00 Saturday morning, the Joppa-Magnolia fire company responded to a single family home house fire at 70 Neptune Drive in Joppa.
Officials say the fire split the foyer of the home.
As a result of the fire, a woman was transported to the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center and was treated for minor injuries.
The Kingsville Volunteer, White Marsh Volunteer, Aberdeen Proving Ground FD, along with Edgewood – Abingdon Fire company responded to the scene.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the fire.
