No. 3 Salisbury Baseball Rolls Over Gallaudet
The Salisbury University baseball team is currently ranked third in the nation and they stayed hot on a cold day taking on Gallaudet on Sunday afternoon.
At the beginning of the video, look the future slugger – son of SU head coach, Troy Brohawn. After a scoreless first inning, the Bison got on the board in the top of the second inning with Kyle Gumm hitting one into right field. However, that is as far as the Bison would get before the top-ranked Gulls took over.
Bottom of the third, SU’s Danny Breen knocked one into right field for a single and shortly after, it was slugger Kyle Hayman who roped one into centerfield bringing in a run to tie it up with a stand-up triple.
A couple of batters later, the RBI king, Jordan Bowe splkits the infield and brings Hayman in to take the lead 2-1. The Gulls bats caught fire outscoring the Bison, 16-1, the final.
