Decatur continues hot start, drops Pocomoke

The Stephen Decatur baseball team continued their hot start to the 2015 season, taking down county-rival Pocomoke, 13-3 in 5 innings on Thursday afternoon.

Brooks Holloway’s RBI single to left field would cap off a 6-run first inning for Decatur. After adding two more runs in the second inning, Decatur would rest on an 8-0 lead, before Pocomoke began to show some life. Dylan Peterson’s RBI single was one of two runs the Warriors scored in the frame. But Decatur would erase all doubt late, scoring one in the fifth, and four in the fifth to force the 10-run-rule.
