Cheswold fire ruled accidental

None were injured in a late afternoon greenhouse fire in Cheswold.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s office has ruled a 4 PM fire on the 3000th block of Seven Hickories Road, Broadmeadow Farms accidental.

Authorities say the fire was caused by a faulty appliance inside of a greenhouse when the appliance ignited combustible elements.

Heavy damage took place and the estimated damages stand at $10,000.
