Reports of entertainment system catching fire in Somerset home

The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s office says a home caught fire over the weekend because of an entertainment failure in Crisfield.

Reports say at about 2:20 PM on Saturday, Crisfield, Marion, and Princess Anne Fire departments responded to the 26000 block of Bill Gaylon Lane for a fire to a bedroom in a one story home. Reports say it took fire officials about 20 minuets to put the flames, believed to be caused by an accidental fire to an electronic entertainment equipment.

Officials say the estimated cost of loss is about $5,000.
