Queen Anne’s Girls Lax Strike Quickly At Parkside

The Queen Anne’s girls lacrosse team hit the road Wednesday and came away with a 15-11 win at Parkside. The win improves the Lions to 7-1, while the loss drops the Rams to 4-5.
The Lions would jump out to the quick lead after McKenna Blick and Taylor Blick would both run their offense well. They’d finding the back of the net on several shots, while also finding the open player for quick score. The lead quickly reached 5 as the Lions were making plays on the defense end as well. The Rams tried to fight their way back, led by Emily Davis. The second half Parkside would continue to climb out of the deficit, but they would eventually run out of time.
Queen Anne’s returns to work Friday when they host Kent County, while Parkside returns to the field Friday when they travel to Bennett.
