Apr. 17 – 2nd Annual Community Field Day

To fight against childhood obesity the Somerset County Health Department a community event to fight childhood obesity and raise awareness in the community in regards to the overall importance of healthy eating and active living. The Center for Disease and Prevention reports that childhood obesity has more than doubled in children and tripled in adolescents in the past 30 years. Which is why its so prevalent that this is a major problem not only in Somerset County but nationwide.
