UPDATE: Suspect charged in shooting in Dover

The Dover Police Department say they have arrested a man for a shooting in Dover Tuesday afternoon.
According to reports, 20-year-old Marquis Boyer-Smith of Dover is being charged with shooting a 27-year-old man three times on South Queen Street, at about 3 PM. Police say surveillance cameras captured Boyer-Smith fleeing the shooting and was able to locate and arrest him without incident.
At last check the victim was being treated at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital for his injuries.
Boyer-Smith has been charged with 1st degree assault and reckless endangering, and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony. He is being held at James T. Vaughn Correction Center on a $84,000 cash bond.
