Salisbury man arrested on drug charges after hit and run

A Salisbury man was arrested after a hit and run in Wicomico County.
Last Friday, officials with the Wicomico Sheriff’s Office say Devin Kemp, 24, of Salisbury was at a house on Gunby Road in Salisbury. Kemp was reportedly arguing with his girlfriend. As he was leaving the house, he allegedly hit a parked car and continued without stopping.
Police say they found Kemp driving on a nearby street, and found what they call, “fresh damage” on his car.
During the traffic stop, Police say they smelled marijuana, which prompted a search. Authorities say Kemp had enough marijuana and other paraphernalia to indicate intent to distribute.
Kemp was arrested and charged with failure to remain at the scene of an accident, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of CDS with the intent to distribute. He was released after posting $5,000.00 unsecured bond.
