Bennett Boys Lax Celebrate Senior Night With Win

The James M. Bennett boys lacrosse team celebrated their senior night with a 12-6 win over Wicomico High School Friday night. The win improves the Clippers to 8-4, while the loss drops the Indians to 1-11.

The Clipper would grab an early lead after Oakley Wise would get into the scoring action. The Indians would keep the game close though thanks to some gritty defense, led by their keeper RJ Howatt. Bennett would take a slim lead into the second half, but their offense would find it’s groove in the 3rd. Kevin Davis would find the back of the net, as would Drew Mengason as they would go on to close out the game for the win.

Both teams now await the release of this years state tournament bracket to find out where and when they will play next.
