Mardela’s Shank Signs With Chesapeake

Mardela softball’s Kristina Shank signed to play her college ball with Chesapeake College Tuesday afternoon. The senior has been a big part of the Warriors team lead by Head Coach Kory Shiles that is in the middle of another tremendous season. Mardela claimed the Bayside South title after completing the regular season with a 15-3 record. During that time, Shank was a force at the plate, hitting a team-high .491, while driving in 22 runs off 26 hits. Defensively Shank has been rock solid as well, having yet to record an error this season.

Shank and the rest of the Warriors return to action Monday when they host the winner of Pocomoke and North Dorchester.
