Bucs drop Decatur to advance to another regional final

The defending state champion Kent Island Buccaneers advanced to the regional final, defeating Stephen Decatur 12-6.

The teams were tied 3-3 at the end of the first quarter, but Kent Island began to establish their dominance in the second quarter, and pushed it into the second half.

The Buccaneers advance to the regional final, where they travel to take on Section II number one seed Northern Calvert. Game time is set for Wednesday.
