UPDATE: DSP seek suspect involved in Capitol One Bank robbery

Delaware State Police are investigating a bank robbery in Rehoboth Beach.

Corporal Jeffrey Hale of DSP says the incident happened at the Capital One Bank at 19268 Old Landing Road shortly after noon on Saturday. According to Corporal Hale, a 23-year-old female bank teller was approached by a man who presented her with a demand note for cash.

Police tell 47 ABC the suspect implied that he was armed; however, a weapon was not displayed. We’re told the suspect fled in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.

There were no injuries as of a result from the incident.

Authorities describe the suspect a black male, between 20 and 25 years old. Police say he is 5’06”-5’08” tall, weighs 140-150 pounds, and was last reportedly seen wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans, and brown hat, and glasses.
