Milton PD search wanted for suspect

Milton Police are searching for a man they say threatened to kill a woman.

Around 4:00 a.m. Sunday, authorities responded to 100-block of Waples Place for a reported incident involving a handgun. Police say Brandon Howell, 23, came to the home of the 37-year-old victim and said he would kill her while pointing a handgun at her.

We’re told Howell, who is prohibited from possessing a firearm, discharged a round into the ground and then fled the area on foot.

Milton Police searched the area with the assistance of Delaware State Police. 

Police are urging the public to use caution, as the handgun has not been
recovered.

Charges against Howell include Possession of Firearm by Person Prohibited, Possession of Firearm during Commission of Felony, Aggravated Menacing, Terroristic Threatening, and 2nd degree of Criminal Trespass.
