UPDATE: Bicyclist dies from serious crash

State troopers say a woman was killed following a serious car crash on Friday night.
Police say around 8:50 p.m., 19-year-old Nadiia Misa was riding a bicycle and attempting to cross eastbound on Coastal Highway at the intersection of Miller Road. As she began to cross the southbound lanes, she was reportedly struck by a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire driven by Dover man Daniel Furr, Jr., 30.
Authorities say the force of the impact threw Misa into the left-hand lane of the road.
She was removed from the scene by Emergency Medical Services and transported to the Beebe Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries around 7:45 a.m. Saturday.
Furr was not injured.
This crash remains under investigation by the Delaware State Police Crash Reconstruction Unit.
