Bike MS: Chesapeake Challenge raises big bucks in Easton

More than five hundred cyclists from around the state of Maryland rose an upwards of four hundred and fifty thousand dollars as they wrapped up a two day bike through Easton Saturday afternoon.

This was all done for the 2015 Bike MS Chesapeake Challenge. The money will help fund treatment for Multiple Sclerosis, an unpredictable and often debilitating disease of the central nervous system.

Courtney Baltimore, the Bike MS Manager says, “The money is going to a good cause. It’s going to research. With the money that they raise, seventy five cents on the dollar is going back towards research.”

Bike MS will be continuing their fundraising until August 1st. For those who would like to donate, you can do so on bikems.org.
