Smyrna sex offender wanted on slew of charges

Law enforcement agencies around Delaware are all searching for a wanted sex offender.

Delaware State Police says they are looking for 41-year-old Dennell Harrison, of Smyrna, on burglary, theft, resisting arrest, and offensive touching charges. Dover Police are also reportedly looking for the medium risk tier 2 offender on assault charges, while Smyrna Police wants him on a charge of sex offender residing within 1,000 feet of a school.

Harrison is also apparently wanted on several capiases out of Kent County Court of Common Pleas. Harrison, who is pictured here above, is described as a black man, standing 6′ 1″ tall, weighing 181 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

The DSP Sex Offender Apprehension and Registration Unit is asking anyone with information on Harrison’s whereabouts to contact 302-672-5306 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333. Tips can also be sent through the Tip Submit website, or by texting 274637 (CRIMES) using the keyword “DSP.”
