Social by Echelon loses liquor license

The downtown Salisbury restaurant and bar Social by Echelon has had its liquor license indefinitely suspended by Wicomico County.

Owner Chauwan Matthew went to the county’s liquor board meeting Tuesday to appeal that decision.
    
This is the second time in six months the establishment has lost their ability to sell alcohol.

As 47 ABC previously reported, back when the establishment was just called Echelon the restaurant and bar lost its license after a patron cut themselves on broken glass.

47 ABC reached out to Matthew to get the latest on whether his liquor license was reinstated but have not yet heard back.
