Fire in Salisbury City Park pavilion under investigation

The Maryland State Fire Marshals’ Office says a fire in the pavilion at the Salisbury City Park Tuesday is under investigation.

There was a fire reported by someone passing by the park on Tuesday afternoon around 2:35 PM, at a 15′ x 30′ pavilion on South Park Drive.

The fire, that Officials say originated on the roof of the structure, was controlled by 15 firefighters on scene, within 15 minutes.There were no reported injuries. Damages from this incident are estimated at $300.
