Law enforcement across Delmarva hosting National Night Out events

On Tuesday, August 4, law enforcement agencies from around Delmarva will be participating in National Night Out. The evening is designed to grow support in neighborhoods, explain crime prevention, and build relations between the community and police. This is apparently the 32nd year for the national event, that more than 15,000 communities participating.
Delaware:
DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department will once again bring the National Night Out to the Target parking lot on Tuesday, August 4th from 6-8pm. Officials say there will be a bounce house, rock climbing wall, food, child ID kits, and much more all for free!
MILFORD, Del. – Tuesday, August 4th 6:00-8:00 PM in Bicentennial Park. Come out & enjoy some Grotto Pizza & much more!
Maryland:
BERLIN, Md. – The Berlin Police Department will be hosting their event from 4 until 7:00 PM, at the Henry Park in Berlin. There will be free food, music, displays and booths, medical screenings, and lots of fun activities for the kids. Anyone with questions can contact Berlin Police Department at 410-641-1333.
CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Chief Dvorak and the Cambridge Police Department will host theirs at the county swimming pool located at 107 Virginia Avenue Cambridge, Maryland, 6:00-9:00pm. CRISFIELD, Md. – The Crisfield Police Department is hosting their event at Somers Cove Marina Grounds from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 4.
EASTON, Md. – Easton’s celebration will take place at Moton Park and the George Murphy pool. From 5-7 PM there will be free swimming and free food. Other activities include demonstrations, several guest speakers, a group walk around the neighborhood to let criminals know we are “taking back the streets.” Those participating in the group walk will be entered into a raffle to win a free season membership to the George Murphy Community Pool.
FRUITLAND, Md. – On Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 5 until 8PM. The city of Fruitland will be hosting the event at the pavilion located on S. Brown Street, with free food and fun.
POCOMOKE CITY, Md. – Pocomoke City Police Department will be hosting their event on Tuesday, at Cypress Park from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Contact 410-957-1600 for more information.
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – The Princess Anne Police Department will be holding a local event at the Garland Hayward Youth Center on Rosa Parks Boulevard in Princess Anne from 6pm to 8pm. Activities will include a moon bounce for children, music by DJ Redz, a Zumba Demonstration by Ms. Dionne Ray, and exhibits by the Princess Anne Fire Department and Somerset County Swift Water Rescue Team. SALISBURY, Md. – Salisbury Police is hosting their event on Tuesday, in the City Park, by the bandstand, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Various community organizations are participating, and there will be free entertainment for all ages, along with free food, music games, prizes and more. The City also says they have 41 bikes to giveaway, along with books, helmet, and bookbags.
SNOW HILL, Md. – Snow Hill Police Department will be holding their event at the Byrd Park Pavillions from 5:00 until 8:00 PM, with food, music and fun for all.
