Jellyfish Festival is returning to OC, bands to play and activities to go on Labor Day weekend
OCEAN CITY, Md.- Get ready to have some good times on the sand with great bands in September at the Jellyfish Festival.
After not being able to have the music festival last year due to COVID-19, the Jellyfish Festival is making a comeback Labor Day weekend.
This year there will be over 9 bands playing.
We are told on Sunday country singer, Brad Paisley, will be on the Jellyfish main stage.
Attendees, can also look forward to a vendor village, filled with artisans, a the first-ever East Coast Cornhole Championships, as well as the first craft beer festival on the sand in Ocean City.
There will also be a Marine Corps Fitness Challenge featuring obstacles for visitors of all ages and skill levels.
People can also enjoy a “fat tire” obstacle course provided by the Eastern Shore IMBA.
“We are just excited, ya know its a great way to end the summer, the city and our sponsors have been very supportive and we bring a great eclectic mix of music together we bring great crowds to the beach and we also feel this event has long standing legs to kind of keep going throughout the future,” Brad Hoffman, Jellyfish Festival Event Director and Creator, said.
The event will happen ocean side between North Division Street and Somerset Street.
Because of the amount of sponsors they have music will be free on Saturday.
The Jellyfish lineup ramps up Saturday on the main stage from 12-9 p.m. with performances by Anthony Gomes, Derek Woods Band, Ted Bowne, Ray Wroten, Never Ending Fall, and Ocean 98’s Magellan.
Sunday entertainment includes Rockoholics, Crosstown Walkers, and Troll Tribe, which will all be playing on the B-Stage from 12-3 p.m.
The Brad Paisley Show is being produced by the Ocean City Concert. Doors for his show will open at 3 p.m. and the show starts at 5 p.m.
