Delmar woman accused of breaking vehicle windows with infant inside

A Delmar woman is facing charges, after she apparently broken out the windows of a vehicle.

The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says on Friday, a Deputy responded to reports of a disturbance at a home in Walnut Street in Delmar. According to the report, the person who lives at the home, informed the Deputy that 48-year-old Jacqueline Trader, had busted out the front windshield and rear window of their vehicle.

The Deputy says the front seat of the vehicle had been sliced with a knife, and the victim had also apparently been assaulted. This all apparently happened while the victim’s infant child was in the vehicle.

Trader was arrested, and charged with assault 2nd degree, malicious destruction of property over $1,000, and reckless endangerment. She was later released on a $55,000 bond.
