Chincoteague Pony Auction brings in over $420k in 2021

CHINCOTEAGUE, Va. – The totals are in and the 2021 Chincoteague Pony Auction has set a new record.

It’s the second year this event has gone virtual and organizers say they’ve raised over $420,000. That money helps support the Chincoteague Fire Department.

Next year organizers say they hope to be back in person.
