Aug. 21 – Wishes On Tap Fundraiser

Make-A-Wish® Mid-Atlantic hosts the annual Wishes On Tap fundraiser to help make wishes come true for local children battling life-threatening medical conditions.

Who: Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic invites supporters from around the region to attend and help share the power of a wish®.

When: Sunday, August 23, 2015, 2 – 5 p.m.

Where: Nassau Valley Vineyards, 32165 Winery Way, Lewes, Del.

What: Indulge in Nassau Valley Vineyards’ award-winning selection of wine, brews from Dogfish Head Brewery and Fordham & Dominion Brewing Company, delicious local food and entertainment in a grand showcase of the best of Delaware. Tickets are on sale now.

Why: To raise critical funds and celebrate the mission and work of Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic. The organization fulfills hundreds of wishes each year. However, 840 local children are expected to be diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition this year alone – and for each wish granted, at least two more local children are waiting for a wish. Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic needs the community’s support to close the gap between children who are eligible for a wish this year and those who receive one.
