TidalHealth recognizes employee for good deed

SALISBURY, Md. – TidalHealth Peninsula Regional showed off one of their employees for his constant effort to always keep the best interest of others ahead of his own.

TidalHealth posted the Ambulatory Pharmacy Manager Dr. Bill Cooper. Recently, Cooper once again won a parking spot from the United Way campaign, but instead of keeping it, he donated that parking spot to a coworker, saying “she needs this much more than I do.”

When asked why he made that move, he said Jackie had a stroke in 2011 and in spite of that, was always smiling and always putting her best foot forward. He added that he donated it so that at least for the next year she will be closed to the entrance at work and that this was a reward for her perseverance through her health ordeal.
