SU Women’s Soccer Rolls E. Mennonite

The Salisbury University women’s soccer team picked up their 2nd win of the year in dominate fashion, after they defeated East Mennonite 9-0. The win improves the Sea Gulls to 2-1 on the year.

Salisbury wasted no time before going to work, scoring just over 2 minutes into the game. Samantha Beck took a corner kick that Christine Clark would settle in the box, and then fire home. Shortly after that, the Gulls would stretch their lead to 2-0 after Jenna DeLetto sent a cross into the box that Victoria Luc would head home. DeLetto would then add an unassisted goal herself to stretch the lead to 3-0, and the rout was on. Luc would then find the back of the net for the 2nd time to push the lead to 4-0. Logan O’Meara, Samantha Beck, Ruthie Lucas, Alex Pryor and Rachel Anderson would all go on to score before the day was done.
