Man, 48, shot in leg in Wilmington

Wilmington police are investigating a shooting that left a 48-year-old man wounded.

Police say the man was shot in the upper left leg. He was taken to a hospital in a private vehicle, and police caught up with him there. The shooting occurred early Saturday evening on East 24th Street.

Police have no suspects.
