Laurel teen arrested, accused of breaking into middle school

The Laurel Police Dept. have arrested 19-year-old Michael Claude of Laurel, De. for breaking into Laurel Middle School.

Authorities say that they responded to the middle school after Claude called 911 because he was stuck in a elevator.

According to officials, Claude broke into Laurel Middle School and admitted to riding around the school on a buffing machine before he got stuck in the elevator.

Police say Claude was also found with a Laurel letterman jacket that did not belong to him.

Claude is being charged with third degree burglary, criminal mischief and theft charges.

Claude was arraigned and then released with $3,800 unsecured bond.
