Ocean City recruiting summer police officers

In Ocean City, the beach resort town is in full recruitment mode for their summer police force.
Town leaders say want to bring about 100 people onboard to serve as police officers and public safety aides just for the tourist season.
Communications manager, Jessica Waters, says the town has recruiters visiting about 80 schools across the country to find the best candidates.
"One of the primary things the police department does is to visit colleges. Especially colleges that have a strong criminal justice program. So what we do is travel to Pennsylvania to New York to Ohio and obviously into Maryland as well."
Recruits typically make $15 dollars an hour and then get a raise after they graduate the academy.
