Students report being spat on by faculty member at Salisbury U student sponsored event

Two students allegedly reported being spat on, by a faculty member, at a Salisbury University student sponsored drag show, on Saturday evening.

According to SU'S Director of Student Activities, Tricia Garvey Smith, During a student-sponsored drag show on campus on Saturday evening, two students reported that they were spit on by one of the performers while in character.

The performer has been a temporary-contract faculty member.  Police were contacted; however, the students did not wish to pursue the incident further.

The University is conducting a follow-up investigation.
