Arson to blame for multiple car fires in Cambridge

Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office say they are investigating a number of car fires in Dorchester County.
According to reports, just after 9:30 PM Sunday, officials were called to Race Street in Cambridge for reports of three car fires. When authorities arrived they say a 1190 Ford F150, 2002 Infinity, and 2000 Ford F250 were caught in flames.
It reportedly took 20 minutes and 15 fire firefighters to control the single alarm blaze, believed to caused by arson.
The estimated cost of loss is about $8,500.
