Four minutes to pitch a dream

The Pitch Across Maryland bus made a stop at Salisbury University today on its journey across the state.
Students lined up for their interview spots, where they pitch their ideas within four minutes on camera on the bus. The interviews are then viewed by a panel of investors selected by Start Up Maryland, the company behind the pitch bus.
Founder Michael Binko says they will select the best eight with potential for high growth, who will later be invited to an expo in November.
47 ABC asked Salisbury senior Jean Paul Badjo how his went, and he said it went “really, really well, better than I thought it was going to go. I was a little nervous cause the camera. Talking to a camera kind of gets me nervous, but overall everything went well I said what I had to say, I hit the key points and I think I did a good job.”
Salisbury University is just one of several stops the bus is making.
The Pitch Across Maryland bus will finish up in Annapolis on October 2nd.
