Information sought on vehicle break-ins in Easton

Police in Easton say they are investigating two incidents where vehicle windows were broken.

Easton Police say the first happened on Sage Court, sometime between Monday at 8:30 PM and Tuesday at 8:15 AM. Police say the victim found that someone had busted the passenger side window of his 2005 Ford truck, causing about $600 worth of damage. There was reportedly nothing taken from the vehicle.

The second incident happened early Monday morning, somewhere between 3:30 and 6:30 AM on Goldsborough Street. In this case, someone had broken the back window out of the victim’s 2014 Mazda. Once inside, they reportedly stole the gearshift handle, and wallet, and had knocked the rear view mirror off of the front windshield. Damages are estimated at $1,050.

47 ABC spoke with Easton Police who said they can’t say whether the incidents are related. They are looking into a total of eight similar incidents, dating back to early August, however they don’t have anything linking the investigations together. The incidents have apparently happened at both commercial, and residential locations, with some being late at night, and others during the day. The investigations are reportedly on-going at this time.

Anyone with information about any of these incidents is asked to contact the Easton Police Department at 410-822-1111, or through their website.
